Didn't make the National Poetry Awards UK

National Poetry Competition judges arguing which two of them deserve a queen cake
.
I read from the Poetry Society UK website that all the winners have now been notified.
What am I to infer from this? That An Post has yet again lost my mail? That there's a glitch in my email? That someone picked up my phone when I was otherwise engaged and took the call?
Or...?

    Thanks Kat. That's one possibility that hadn't occurred to me. The more I think about it, the more plausible it sounds.
    A world without football? Is this possible in nature?
