a brazen ecstasy which begs
the question some of us are asking -
is Peter Goulding multi-tasking?"

Criminal omission from Irish Times Poetry Now Award

The world of poetry has been in a state of shock since the weekend since it was revealed that my "A Flash of Orange" failed to make the Irish Times Poetry Now Award shortlist for the best book of poetry published in 2009.
How the judges could have failed to have been won over by such literary gems as Portaloo, the Roquefort Terrorist and Twas a Shame that she died when she did, defies belief. Instead, in one of the greatest miscarriages of justice since the last one, the judges have plumped for poetical wannabes Ciaran Carson, Vona Groarke, Sinéad Morrissey, Eileán Ní Chuilleanáin and Peter Sirr.
