For years the only two things I knew about Yeovil was that a) it was in Somerset and b) they had a famous sloping pitch that used to catch out League opposition in the FA Cup.They of course have a poetry competition (as well as a novel competition) which I entered last year. Never got anywhere, though one of the poems was later accepted into Southword, which gives me hope that perhaps the other two weren't as bad as I had thought.
Anyway, Yeovil 2010 is open for business, deadline 31st May and you can pay on Paypal.
