a brazen ecstasy which begs
the question some of us are asking -
is Peter Goulding multi-tasking?"

Phizzing hell

Dear Peter,
we have now completed judging of the entries for the Phizzfest Poetry Award 2011, and the winner and runners-up have been notified.
Your poem "A Very Mediaeval Redundency " has been selected for publication in a pamphlet entitled "Poems from Phizzfest - a selection of poems from the Phizzfest Poetry Award 2011", which we will launch during the festival. Phizzfest runs from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th September.
We will be having a poetry reading on Saturday 10th September from 6.30pm to 8.00pm in the Brian Boru pub, Cross Guns Bridge, Phibsborough. The reading will feature two poetry groups, as well as the Poetry Award prizewinners and other poems featured in the "Poems from Phizzfest" pamphlet. You are invited to attend and read your poem on the evening.

Particularly delighted by this one, as, a few months ago, I wrote a series of (what I thought were) relevant poems about industrial relations in the new economic era. This however is the first to attract any interest!

(Postscript to all my friends out there in Blogland. Posting comments has become an arduous chore. Bl;ogger keeps asking me to log out, then log back in again (even on my own blog) and its driving me mad, so apologies to anyone who has posted comments that I haven't replied to. Be assured, I do appreciate all comments.)

  1. Peter - I wonder if it's Internet Explorer that's the culprit? I've noticed that there are blogs I can't comment on at work, but when I get home (where I use Google Chrome) I don't have any problems.

    P.S. Congrats!
