Help before I feck this pc out of the window

Quick question for anyone out there? I am trying to post my contribution to the Poetry Bus (ie a poem) However it keeps coming out without line breaks (ie like a piece of prose) even if I put double line breaks in. What am I doing wrong?

  1. Have you tried fixing it in the html .. that usually works for me.

  2. Try writing it in a word doc and then copy and paste, ......or google your problem, you usually get a whole bunch of people suffering from the same thing and sometimes good answers!

  3. I wonder if Chris at Enchanted Oak had the same problem - her poem was prose too, & now the post isn't there anymore.

I don't know HTML - I always just delete all the line breaks & then put them back in & that usually works.

  4. Many thanks to all - I always Copy and Paste from a Word doc anyway. I was able to do it by putting in the line breaks in Preview mode, then saving it - seems to have worked!

  5. Oh, I am glad to see I was not the only one with that problemo. I thought Blogger had gone nuts on me. I lost line breaks no matter what I tried. Editing in HTML was no good. All failed. Had to quit at 2 a.m. out of frustration, and it did the same later this morning. What it Muse Swings? The photo? Hell, it happened even when I didn't implant the link or the photo. Arg!!!! I don't have a clue what eventually happened to make it come out right. Sheer perseverance, I guess.
