I know find that every line of every Word doc in my files is smothered in this symbol. It's like something out of Doctor Who. I can't get rid of it. I can't even ask Help because I don't know what the bloody thing is called.
Does anyone know what this blasted thing is and, even better, how to get rid of it??
Peter it should present itself on the toolbar at the top of your word document, the symbol itself will be there and when you move the cursor over it it will say "show/hide", click it to get rid of it. It's there to show spacing between words I think.
ReplyDeleteOrla, that's wonderful - gone completely. Many thanks - you've saved my computer from being hurled out into the back yard!
ReplyDeleteBTW - it's a paragraph symbol (I use it in some of my legal typing - along with §).
ReplyDeleteI had no idea! I'm so impressed with Orla. I think she should bill you.
ReplyDeleteI believe it's a paragraph symbol. Orla's got the solution, I think.
ReplyDeleteE-mailing you soon, Peter.
