"Seven bums and fourteen legs,
a brazen ecstasy which begs
the question some of us are asking -
is Peter Goulding multi-tasking?"

If you're down in Portumna next Friday...

Got a line from the indefatigable Noelle Lynskey (above) regarding an event in Portumna next Friday. Noelle herself is a very fine poet who possibly has not got the full recognition she deserves.

Join Portumna's Maple Poets and Pen Pushers for a night of readings to raise the drooping spirits of winter and woe.
On Thursday , Nov 25th- Ireland will be celebrating a day of gratitude, a day to say thank you.
Writers are always so grateful for the right word, so thrilled with a good line and take pleasure from the words of others, so let's share those words in the Shannon Oaks Hotel, Portumna 8pm on Thursday , Nov 25th.

Local Pen pushers writing Group will be launching their pamphlet-Words While We Wait- a collection of writings designed for local Waiting Room areas.
Our night will be informal, fun and free to all participants- bring a piece you are delighted to have written or a piece you would like to share.
Please support, pass on and bring a car load!

Knowing well all the good work that Noelle and others down in that part of the world to encourage participation in the arts, I'm delighted to pass it on.
