To enter you will have to devise a 3 minute speech on the topic “Wind energy – the future or a blot on the landscape?”
You will then deliver this speech to an audience in Blanchardstown Library on Thursday November, 5th.
The winner chosen by the expert judging panel will receive an iPad and will also win through to the final in Farmleigh on November 19th. In the final, they will have a chance to win a prize of €1,000.

Actually, its not just Blanchardstown, there are other locations around the country. Closing date for completed applications is this Friday, so best to apply online if you're interested. Other libraries have different heat dates.
As someone who can't string three words together, it's probably not for me. Besides, my wife says I produce enough wind energy to run the national grid...
