Suzi married a guy, Len Tuckey (bassist in this clip, next door to Suzi) who worked for my Dad! Before he was a famous bassist and husband, obviously, but he was still with us when he met Suzi, and my mother and father went away on a shooting trip to Norfolk with her. Len worked in the cutting room - not a qualified butcher, just good enough to divide big bits into a bit smaller bits. He was a big hulk of a guy with long hair who never said a word to me. Just checked and they married when I was 13, so I knew Len from being about, ooh, eight or so.
That's a brilliant story, Titus. I could never figure out why Ms Quatro should choose a big hulking rock musician over a pimply adolescent schoolboy like me....
