Dear Peter,Comment’s 2010 poetry contest received 37 entries, which together formed an excellent collection of sonnets. Our judges had a difficult time selecting from among the quality entries.
I must inform you that your poem did not finish in the top three. I’m thankful you entered, and hope you will keep an eye for next year’s contest; details will come out in late spring.

Oh well, either the judgess didn't get the subtleties hidden in my brilliant entry or they had promised the top three places to subscribers of the magazine.
Or maybe, just maybe, my entry was crap.
Crap certainly not. They just missed the hidden subtitles.
