a brazen ecstasy which begs
the question some of us are asking -
is Peter Goulding multi-tasking?"

John F. Deane wins the The Gregory O'Donoghue Poetry Prize

This is actually two week old news but I'm only finding out now.
John F. Deane, whom I caught both at Strokestown and at the Irish Writers Centre last year won the inaugural Gregory O'Donoghue Poetry Prize organised by the Munster Liteature Centre. (Remember, the competition that I finished just off the short list for)
His poem was called The Shoemaker.
2nd, and another South Mayo connection, was Clew Bay from the Reek by Siobhan Campbell.
3rd was Geezer by Patrick Deeley.
