Mary O'Donnell will be reading and answering questions as part of Charlie Quinn's wonderful Poets Alive series at Blanchardstown Library at 7pm sharp. I had to do a short piece on her visit for The Community Voice - here - and she was very helpful in answering my rather lame questions (well, I am restricted to 400 words)To my eternal shame, I had never heard of her, but I have now. She is from Monaghan (a county that seems to dig poets out of the bog) and sadly, I am working this Thursday and will miss her.
