The latest edition of Revival arrived among the Christmas post last week and I've barely had time to skim through it, never mind write about it. That is a pleasure to savour when I'm Willy Wonka'd out approaching New Year.
The latest edition of Revival arrived among the Christmas post last week and I've barely had time to skim through it, never mind write about it. That is a pleasure to savour when I'm Willy Wonka'd out approaching New Year.As usual, its a delightful mix of, mainly, poetry, prose and a review and, as seems to be the trend these days, featuring not many names I've come across - an indication surely of plenty of new blood coming through. I see Louise Phillips is in there with a prose piece - either she has a brilliant imagination or a very interesting past! And Noel Harrington, whom I met at the WOW awards this year - well, I never had him down as an old headbanger! And the quite brilliant and prolific Richard W Halperin treats us to another of his finely chiselled masterpieces.
Some old masters in there too - Eamonn Lynskey, Noel King, Knute Skinner, John Pinschmidt, Greagoir O'Duill and John Liddy, which all makes for a great read.
Oh and I have a poem in there too.

Well done Peter! How did your poem manage to slip in???
