is Peter Goulding multi-tasking?"

Lighten Up Online Issue16 now online

For those of you like me who believe that light verse is just as valid an art form as serious verse, issue number 16 of my absolute favouritest light verse magazine Lighten Up Online is now waiting to be perused by all lovers of the genre.
To quote the editor, master wordsmith Martin Parker, "We end 2011 with festive indigestion, the challenge of packaging, entasis ((Go on, look it up!), sex and Catholicism, courgettes, Roman hairstyles, a reluctant Mrs Rubinstein, socks, a sheepdog with a grudge .... and many others. Oh, and five poets new to Lighten Up Online, plus the results of Competition 15."
Shamefacedly, I must admit that I completely missed the deadline for this issue. I shall therefore shower the editor with submissions for the next one until he promises to print one.

  1. That's a good read. Liked Gail White's very much, and the last stanza of the entasis actually was unmissable.
