a brazen ecstasy which begs
the question some of us are asking -
is Peter Goulding multi-tasking?"

Something wrong, shurely?

The Francis Ledwidge International Poetry Awards have always seemed to me to be both prestigious and very well run, attracting a good sized entry from Ireland, the UK, the USA, Canada and beyond. The first three prizewinners are also entered in the Forward Prize in the UK.
I have no idea if it is the recession to blame or if a poem destined for the waste-paper basket landed on the wrong pile but it appears that somehow I have been awarded second place in this year's competition for my poem Ctrl Alt Delete. It is somewhat mind-boggling that so august a competition could have made such an elementary mistake. The winner was Jessamine O'Connor who also won the iYeats in the summer.
Full details are:-

The Francis Ledwidge Award - Jessamine O Connor, Sligo - Silver Spoon
