Okay, nothing to do with poetry but I never knew that the sun illuminated one of the passage tombs near Newgrange on the vernal equinox. Wonder if the other two quarter points of the year are similarly served?
At the 5000 year old Loughcrew megalithic Cairn T, the rising sun on the
mornings around the equinox illuminates the passage and chamber. Cairn T
will be open from 6:15am on Sunday the 20th of March, Monday the 21st March
and Tuesday the 22nd March. Breakfast will be server at the Loughcrew
Gardens Coffee Shop from 7.30am. Details here
If only I wasn't a few thousand miles away. Sounds like fun
