Danse Macabre 42

Danse Macabre is an online literary magazine that has a definite European (and 19th Century European, at that) flavour to it, despite the fact that it emanates from that bastion of culture, Nevada. Not only does it include new work but it also slips in older pieces that are no longer considered fashionable.
The Christmas edition (Nussnacker - Nutcrackers) was slightly delayed due to the hospitalisation of editor-in-chief Adam Henry Carriere. For this edition, writers and poets were invited to submit work on the theme of "Christmas in..."
I am rather surprised but thrilled that my entertaining, light-hearted little ditty "Christmas in Dachau 1944" was selected for inclusion. I find the website darkly fascinating, though at times a bit confusing to navigate, so the link to my poem is here.
