Poetry on the Lake

I always liked the look of the Poetry on the Lake competition, though I suspect getting time off to toddle over to Italy might be pushing it a bit in work.

Categories:
Silver Wyvern:max.60 lines. Adjudicator:James Harpur
Formal verse: max.40 lines.. Adjudicator: Kevin Bailey
Short poems: max.10 lines. Adjudicator: Carole Baldock
suggested theme for all categories “ Mediterranean ”
Prizes: Silver Wyvern + €500; €100 x 3 runners-up;
Short & Formal: each €100.
First in each category also: a year’s subscription to Orbis and publication therein
Fees: first poem £8; 2nd & 3rd £6 per poem, then £5 per poem.Euro: €20 for 2 poems ; then €10.
