a brazen ecstasy which begs
the question some of us are asking -
is Peter Goulding multi-tasking?"

A drizzle of Maple

We were in New England last May and surrounded by Maple Syrup in all wonderful receptacles wherever we went. Great on your pancakes for breakfast.
Not exactly sure why the Maple Poetery Group in Portumna is so named but the wonderful Noelle Lynskey is inviting everybody down on February 19th in aid of Haiti.
.
"Friday, Feb 19th at 8.30pm Portumna’s wordsmiths, writers, singers and readers are encouraged to bring a piece on the theme of “Hope” to Stronge’s Bar. This Word Aid event is organised by the Maple Poetry Group to raise funds for the devastation that no word can describe in Haiti. Performers are invited to choose from their own original work or from their favourite poet, singer or writer. A basket will be passed around collecting donations that will be directly delivered to Haiti via FGS Haitian Earthquake Appeal."

Amazing how easy it is to get down to places like Loughrea and Portumna nowadays!
