a brazen ecstasy which begs
the question some of us are asking -
is Peter Goulding multi-tasking?"

Southword launch

Tonight I attended the joint Southword 17 / Poetry Ireland web launch at the Irish Writers Centre in Parnell Square.
Some of my favourite poets - John Deane, Pat Boran, Joseph Woods and Theo Dorgan - read and I read my poem Mick too. Not quite as eloquent as I'd have liked. I got stuck on the word 'giggling' and later changed "cocked" to "listening" when I got a block on the former.
Some interesting thoughts on e-publishing from the assembled guests. Personally I'm thrilled to get published anywhere, whether paper, on the web or runic inscriptions.
While there I picked up a copy of Southword's Best Irish Poetry in English 2010 which I look forward to devouring.
