I was sent this poem by my fellow football poet Darren O'Keeffe, Cork City FC's poet laureate. Darren edits the fanzine "I was out there once," an independent view on the trials and tribulations of the second city's - he'll love me saying that - premier football team.
This poem was written by Darren to celebrate 25 years of Cork City and is performed at the supporters club AGM.
